Philippe Moretto, General Secretary of ENCADRE, the European Network of Clusters for satellite Applications development in Regions of Europe, initiative of EC DG Ent and ETSI Galileo Specialist Task Force has a balanced experience with 10 years in the IT private sector as 10 years in the institutional/French public sector in policy, innovation, engineering, business development with a specialization in satellite navigation/Galileo technologies. Former employers include: Conseil Général des Alpes Maritimes, Goldman Sachs and Experian. He has a MSc degree and an executive MBA from the International Space University of Strasburg and the George Washington University.

Peter Schmitting

Mr Peter Schmitting is managing director of FSCOM SARL, a French based consulting company specialized in the testing of high-end telecommunications equipment and in the implementation, integration and validation of the related test specifications using state of the art testing methodologies. Peter has worked for more than 20 years in standardization, namely for the European Telecommunications Standards Institute ETSI where he developed test specification for a multitude of technologies ranging from traditional telecommunications to intelligent transport systems. He is frequently involved in the technical organization of ETSI’s PlugTestTM interoperability events that bring together the top industry players to interconnect prototype equipment for new emerging technologies. For FSCOM’s industry clients Peter managed a great number of projects realizing solutions for complex distributed automatic test systems.
