Dr. Younis Hijazi is project officer at Luxinnovation, Luxembourg’s Agency for Innovation and Research. His role is twofold: he is the Luxemburgish National Contact Point for ICT and Security for the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) and he actively contributes to the Luxembourg ICT Cluster. In particular he animates the Location-Based Services Working Group in cooperation with the Luxembourg Space Cluster. He graduated in Computer Science from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany and spent six years in R&D. Before joining Luxinnovation, he was heading a 5-people team in an innovative SME and leading a 40+ partners ITEA2 proposal.
