Deep knowledge in business management, marketing and branch management – within the Information Technology and Telecommunications international markets. Highly successful in identifying opportunities, designing and implementing solutions, leading and delivering major projects from initial concept to profitable entity, building excellent relationships with all actors in the value chain, meeting governments and companies’ objectives. After dedicating over 20 years of his professional life to several national and international ICT and mobile and mobility industries, he had a very clear picture of where this industry was heading to and which were the future challenges in this field. Nine years ago he started collaborating as an external expert with the regional Government of Catalonia in the development of industrial innovation policies for the ICT sector, and four years ago he got the opportunity to start working within the Catalan Government in the Telecommunications and Information Society Strategy Area. He believes that from the public institutions it is understood and assumed that the adaptation of SMEs to the new Information Communications Technologies is a challenge that they can achieve provided the right strategic industrial innovation policies are developed and deployed.
