Regional development through innovation and mobile technologies

On November 18, 2014 (Tuesday), at 10:00 am, at the Regional Authority Kyustendil, will hold an International meeting in the context of the initiative of the European Commission and The European Mobile and Mobility Industries Alliance (EMMIA) /www.mobilise-europe .mobi / DG "Enterprise and Industry"and The European GNSS Agency’s (GSA).

On the meeting will be presented: Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), program "COPERNICUS", "Galileo" / European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS), also the European program for Earth observation (GMES) and others.

The meeting will be attended by international experts in specific areas.

We recall that, as a result of successful implementation of the project Grow Mobile, which Kyustendil Regional Administration was a partner, the region has the opportunity to join the initiative "innovative partnership" of the EMMIA Policy Learning Platform.. Kyustendil is one of three regions in Europe, which will be implemented pilot initiative, to increase the potential in mobile applications and services.

Successful cooperation in the initiative so far, give us a chance to join the project "SUNRISE" /www.sunrise-project.eu/, which aims to establish standards and raise awareness regarding the use of mobile communications and services, based on location associated with the Global Navigation System - Galileo.
